MARILYN MONROE
“I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves. They didn't bother to find out who and what I was. Instead they would invent a character for me. I wouldn't argue with them. They were obviously loving somebody I wasn't.”
Norma Before Monroe puts the truth of the woman before the glamour of the star. Set between November of 1954 and June of 1955, it deals with Marilyn's move to New York following her divorce from Joe DiMaggio, her enrollment in the Actor's Studio under Lee Strasburg, and her hope for her future and struggles with her past.
